My Story
I’ve specialized in crafting travel experiences for 20 years, including while living and working in Scotland and New Zealand. My love of travel planning has taken clients on remarkable journeys spanning the globe, from the icy wilderness of Antarctica to the wild bush of Zambia and virtually everywhere in between. While I’ve had the great privilege of traveling to many places around the world, Africa and the South Pacific both hold special places in my heart. They are incredible regions, and continue to draw me back, again and again. Nothing makes me happier than helping travelers experience these regions for themselves!

My Style of Travel
I like a good mix in my travels; some nature, some wildlife, some hiking, some adventure, and some cultural/personal connection experiences. I don’t need uber luxurious accommodations, but it is a definite treat now and again!

When I’m Not Traveling, I…
always make time for a great hike, a sporting event, or simply enjoying the company of old and new friends. And of course, playing with our adorable (not so little) puppy, Loch.

Favorite Destinations
It’s one of the most difficult things to do, picking a favorite, but for now I’d have to say New Zealand. I lived there for a year and absolutely fell in love with the country. Friendly people, stunning scenery, amazing hikes, and adventure activities, it really has it all!

Favorite Experiences
Going to an All Blacks rugby match in Wellington, New Zealand. I’m a big sports fan and rugby is one of my favorites, and the All Blacks are one of the all-time-great teams. It was moving to experience the Haka in real life, and to watch them win was even more fun. While I went to the game on my own, I was also adopted by a group of Kiwis headed to the game. We made a quick stop for a drink, and they made sure I didn’t get lost en route to the match – not that there was much difficulty with that, the crowds were all headed in the same direction. They were so kind and a lot of fun. It was one of my favorite and most memorable experiences in New Zealand.

I don’t leave home without…
either everything in my carry-on or at least two changes of clothes in it! I spent six days in the bush of Botswana without my luggage and now I always pack a couple spares!
