Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary
At Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary, you can get up close to iconic Australian wildlife, as well as some critters you might not be familiar with now but will fall in love with once you see them! Every single one of the animals has a story to tell. At Bonorong, you will meet extinct animals everywhere except this island refuge.
Bonorong’s ever-changing menagerie of survivors includes wombats, Tasmanian devils, quolls, native birds, koalas, lizards, snakes, emus, and more. The sanctuary aims to get as many healthy creatures back into the wild as possible. At the sanctuary, you’ll learn their unique stories of survival—and help fund their rehabilitation.
Special wildlife experiences allow you to hand-feed koalas, play tug of war with Tassie devils, and discover behind-the-scenes wildlife access you won’t find anywhere else.
